Don’t be mediocre, be inspired

Surround yourself with people that INSPIRE YOU.

When you look around you and everyone is looking/ acting/ thinking just like you, then you will inevitably never question your choices. It’s a comfortable place to be… it’s mediocrity.

If you fill your life with people you aspire to be like, who maintain the same values as you and aim for bigger and better things, you will progress with them. You will boost each other.

I can happily convince myself that I’m doing the right thing just because everyone else around me is doing the same. But that’s when you stop and question it- is what you’re doing right now what you really want? Are the comparisons you’re drawing from others around you preventing you from reaching your goals?

This is your life, strive for what YOU want. Surround yourself with likeminded people, people who will ADD to your life, who can boost you and you can boost them.

These people don’t even have to be people you see every day, or even those you have met. Influence comes in all shapes and sizes, whether you’re influenced by a friend, a family member, somebody on the internet or social media. If they are inspiring you, be inspired.

Jenna Kutcher is one of the most influential figures in my life right now. Have I met her? No! Is she inspiring me? Hell yeah.

Surround yourself with people who make you want to kick butt, to achieve your goals and more.

What influences you? What books are you reading? What YouTube videos inspire you? What podcast made you want more out of life?

Your decisions NOW affect who you will BECOME. Who do you want to be? Are you on track to become the best version of yourself?
