I personally LOVED shopping for my University Room last year. You can set yourself a budget, choose a theme and go crazy! I find that both NotOnTheHighstreet and Etsy are perfect for locating quirky and unique objects to really give your room character. You’re going to be spending a fair amount of time in your University room, so make sure it’s a calm and tidy environment.
I really wish I had come to University with more boxes, desk organisers and bags. It makes life a lot easier when deadlines are approaching and you have as tidy and organised a room as possible. Also, most Halls of Residence have a notice board for you to fill, so come prepared! I spent over £40 on printing photos off to fill mine.
I am loving the nature themes of interior decor at the moment along with the mixed metals and wood. Plus green is my absolute favourite colour and I can’t get enough of it! If you like any of the above products, check them out below. Preparing for University can be cheap and fun.
